- "Brain on the Spikes" (1983) is a parody of the film "Donovan's Brain" (1953), which in turn was based on the novel of the same name by Curt Siodmak.
- Most of the scenes, according to the plot, take place in Vienna, but the license plates on all the cars have the Graz registration code "G" instead of "W".
- There is an error in the credits: the actress Stepfanie Kramer's name is written as Stephanie.
- 'Brainstorm' (1983) is a parody of 'Donovan's Brain' (1953), which was itself based on the novel of the same name by Curt Siodmak.
