• "The Act of Killing" was named the best documentary film at the 2014 BAFTA Awards. Accepting the award, Oppenheimer stated that the United States and the United Kingdom bear "collective responsibility" for "ignoring and participating" in crimes; however, this speech was cut from the video posted on the BAFTA website.
