Short description
Nick is excited to discover he's won a dinner date with his favorite actress, Jill Goddard. But when Jill refuses to honor the contest, he receives an offer he can't refuse: the ability to view Jill secretly via computer. Nick begins watching the unknowing star on her webcam, not realizing that this decision will put himself and Jill at risk as they enter a terrifying world of cat-and-mouse.
What's left behind the scenes
- Director Nacho Vigalondo wanted to film using the latest technology. For this reason, he refused to use classic cameras and instead filmed with webcams.
- The film was shot in real time to make the plot seem more realistic.
- At one of the festivals where the film was shown, the director stated that he would allow viewers to slap him upon exiting the hall if they didn't like the film.
- When Elijah Wood's character is shot through the windshield at the end of the film, a bullet hole remains in the glass. In the following scenes, it is no longer there.
- The time on all the security cameras is stuck at either 20:59 or 22:38.
