Short description
On his latest expedition, Dr. Rick Marshall is sucked into a space-time vortex alongside his research assistant and a redneck survivalist. In this alternate universe, the trio make friends with a primate named Chaka, their only ally in a world full of dinosaurs and other fantastic creatures.
What's left behind the scenes
- The stylistic design of the end credits is inspired by the films "Planet of the Apes" (1968, 2001), while the visual design is taken from "Planet of the Apes" (1968).
- The deserted road that the main characters take to the cave had previously appeared in David Fincher's film "Se7en" (1995).
- The film was initially given an R rating (persons under 17 require accompanying parent or adult guardian), but some scenes were cut, and the rating was changed to PG-13 (parents are strongly cautioned – some material may be inappropriate for children under 13).
- The styling of the end credits text is taken from the films "Planet of the Apes" (1968, 2001), and the visual design from "Planet of the Apes" (1968).
