• Madhur Bhandarkar was offered the position of director, but he declined due to other work commitments. Subsequently, Vishal Mahadkar was confirmed as the director of the film. However, he was replaced by Mohit Suri at the last moment.
• Filming took place in Cape Town (South Africa), Goa, and Mumbai.
