What's left behind the scenes
- Madhur Bhandarkar was offered the position of director, but he declined due to other work commitments. Subsequently, Vishal Mahadkar was confirmed as the director of the film. However, he was replaced by Mohit Suri at the last moment.
- Filming took place in Cape Town (South Africa), Goa, and Mumbai.
- The scene featuring the performance of “Milne Hai Mujhse Aayi” was filmed in the amphitheater fort in Bandra with a real crowd. People watched the scene with the group with Aditya, unaware that they were being filmed.
- The scene featuring the performance of “Chahun Main Ya Naa” was filmed in 10 different locations. It is the only song that was filmed continuously from the first to the last day of shooting.
- During a scene in the film where Aditya speaks to Shraddha through a glass door, the actress seriously injured her leg. Her dress prevented her from wearing knee pads for protection. However, despite the injury, Shraddha completed the scene in one take.
