- When the producers told Steve Guttenberg he was allowed to invite colleagues from past projects he had worked on to appear in the film, he immediately invited actors he had worked with in the "Police Academy" franchise (1984, 1985, 1986, 1987, 1988, 1989, 1994) – Michael Winslow, Marion Ramsey (1947-2021), and Leslie Easterbrook. For the same reason, Nia Peoples, with whom he starred in "Tower of Terror" (D.J. MacHale, 1997), and Patrick Renna, with whom he co-starred in the 1995 film "The Kickoff" (Holly Goldberg Sloan), also appeared on screen.
