Short description

One day, Koyomi Araragi encounters the horrifying vampire, Kiss-shot Acerola-orion Heart-under-blade A.K.A. the "King of Apparitions." He saves the fatally wounded Kiss-shot by offering his blood at the expense of his own life as a human. Now Koyomi has to face the vampire hunters to retrieve Kiss-shot’s limbs which were taken by these hunters...

What's left behind the scenes

In the original light novel source material, Koyomi Araragi first meets Kiss-shot while riding his bicycle down the street. In the anime series "Monogatari," Araragi first meets Kiss-shot in an underground tunnel in the light of a flashlight. In this full-length anime, the meeting takes place in the subway, where Araragi leads a blood trail to Kiss-shot.
