- In the original light novel source material, Koyomi Araragi first meets Kiss-shot while riding his bicycle down the street. In the anime series "Monogatari," Araragi first meets Kiss-shot in an underground tunnel in the light of a flashlight. In this full-length anime, the meeting takes place in the subway, where Araragi leads a blood trail to Kiss-shot.
