George Clooney performed almost all of his stunts himself.
The filmmakers scouted several churches looking for one suitable for filming. Several were selected, but when parishioners learned that a film featuring terrorists would be shot there, they began to object, as they did not want their church to be associated with terrorism (even in this way). As a result, the church had to be created using computer technology.
When 3 helicopters cross the border of the Russian Federation, inscriptions can be seen on the launch consoles of the Russian missileers: in one frame, "POWER" (obviously a translation of the word 'power'), in another — “VEYAH/VNNZ” and “V'1NOSN'Y POST CHPRAVLENIYA”. The Russian inscriptions on the sacks and boxes in the truck ("Sugar" and "Medication") are written without errors.
