• The film is based on J.K. Rowling's novel 'Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire' (2000).
• They wanted to entrust the direction of the fourth part of the 'Potter' series to Alfonso Cuarón again, but he cited the fact that he would like to finish 'Prisoner of Azkaban' (the third part) first. As a result, the director became the Englishman Mike Newell.
• On February 7, 2004, in London, a "great pilgrimage of little girls" took place: over 3000 candidates came to audition for the role of Cho Chang.
