Short description
In Manhattan, the British limousine driver Alfie is surrounded by beautiful women, having one night stands with all of them and without any sort of commitment. His best friends are his colleague Marlon and his girl-friend Lonette. Alfie has a brief affair with Lonette, and the consequences force Alfie to reflect on his lifestyle.
What's left behind the scenes
- Alfie's blue and white scooter is an in-joke. The colors pay tribute to Tottenham Hotspur FC—Jude Law's favorite football team.
- Billie Piper auditioned for the role of Nikki.
- Susan Sarandon provided British artist Russell Oxley with her photographs from the 1970s, and he painted a portrait of her character as if from that era. After filming, the actress took the portrait with her.
- According to director Charles Shyer, during the filming of the scene where Jude Law's character punches the car windshield, the actor actually broke it, albeit not immediately. He couldn't manage to hit it with such force, but succeeded only when the director advised him to imagine he was hitting not the windshield, but the face of a paparazzo.
