Susan Sarandon provided British artist Russell Oxley with her photographs from the 1970s, and he painted a portrait of her character as if from that era. After filming, the actress took the portrait with her.
According to director Charles Shyer, during the filming of the scene where Jude Law's character punches the car windshield, the actor actually broke it, albeit not immediately. He couldn't manage to hit it with such force, but succeeded only when the director advised him to imagine he was hitting not the windshield, but the face of a paparazzo.
