Short description
After an Ithaca college student films his one-night stand with a beautiful sorority girl, he discovers one of his friends has accidentally mailed the homemade sex tape to his girlfriend. In a frenzy, he must borrow a car and hit the road in a desperate bid to intercept the tape.

What's left behind the scenes

  • A motel clerk is reading a magazine with Drew Barrymore on the cover. At the time of filming, Drew was engaged to actor Tom Green, who played Barry Manilow.
  • Crispin Glover auditioned for the role of Jacob.
  • Although the script called for filming to take place in educational institutions in Ithaca, Boston, and Austin, almost all of the school scenes were filmed at the University of Georgia.
  • Initially, during the scene where the hapless travelers attempt to jump a car over a bridge, a famous composition from the Bond series in a remix by Moby was supposed to play. However, it was later replaced with a simpler song, as using such a hit in the film would have required a further increase in the budget.
